Scheduled a car with 139K miles for an inspection appointment, just before hearing some recent "noise" from the front wheels. Did not mention the latter, but TAR road test noticed and recommended removal/replacement of both front bearings. Searching the repair steps online, I saw double-digit complex processes for disassembly and reassembly. Complicated fix particularly given the age and high mileage of the car. I was in a position to not rush the repair and the positive outcome reflected how giving a mechanic the time to properly complete a tough job is the way to go, if possible. Well worth the wait - really a smooth and quiet ride so far. Thanks!

I’ve owned cars since 1988 and I’ve gone to several very good car repair centers. However, I’ve NEVER had better service than I’ve received at Tinley Auto Repair. Brought my vehicle in after an emissions test failure for a software update. Whatever they are paying the ladies up front, it's not enough. Personable, lighthearted customer service. Probably the main reason I went with this shop.

I moved to Oak Forest IL from Mokena about 5 years ago. I had some issues with my car and asked my neighbor if she could recommend a mechanic. She told me that they only went to Tinley Auto, so I contacted them and they serviced my car (for the first time). They were professional and at the same time, I felt like I had made friends. I have an old car and it needs extra love and care. I have never been disappointed with the service and care I receive from the wonderful people at Tinley Auto. Even if I move from this community, I will still have my car taken care of by them.
