This is one of the BEST MECHANIC REPAIR SHOP. I don’t trust my truck to anyone, But I know my truck is in Great hands when I take it to Tinley Auto Repair shop. These mechanics really know their stuff. The owners Jim & Tammy are such Wonderful people. They break everything down with you on your bill of what the mechanic did & what you might need to have to fix down the road. Need work done? Come see these guys (gals). Beyond regular maintenance service and needed repairs, consider Tinley Auto Repair for pre-purchase inspection of any used vehicle in which you are interested. I have done this multiple times with great results over the decades. The digital pictures they provide are useful supporting evidence.

Incredibly happy with the service received from Jim and Tammy’s team on our 2016 Honda Pilot. They were kind enough to squeeze us into a jam packed schedule to resolve our transmission and electrical system issues. Was very impressed by their responsiveness to check-ins and particularly Jim’s willingness to personally talk through everything with me over the phone as things were progressing. Will certainly not hesitate to take our vehicles back to them with any future needs. Thanks to both of you and the rest of your team!

I scheduled an appointment via and within 24 hours got a response regarding times. The available times didnt work so I called and they got me scheduled. Based upon all The other reviews I felt safe as a woman taking it there. They did the work that was needed and I had them complete an oil change and other things while there. Also everyone was so nice! Great job. They definitely have a new customer.

Jim and Tammy are always very friendly and take the time to explain what is going on with my car while it's in the shop. The texted/emailed inspection report is second to none and gives me peace of mind that the technician found the problem and even adds pictures so that I can see what the tech is referencing in the notes. A+
